Squatting Russian diplomat vacates disputed Embassy site after Australian court ruling

An unidentified Russian diplomat squatting at Moscow’s proposed embassy site adjacent to Australia’s parliament building in Canberra left the premise Sunday shortly after a High Court ruling terminated the lease. Russia’s lease of the property, signed in 2008, was nulled on the grounds of national security concerns.
