A new nuclear weapon will be sent from the US to Europe amid Russian worries.

About 100 B61-3/4 nuclear warheads now in use, which are stationed at various stations in NATO members like Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Turkey, are expected to be replaced by a recently created bomb.

The Federation of American Scientists announced on April 12 that mass production of the new B61-12 guided nuclear bombs had started in Washington in May and that deployment in Europe would soon follow. Around 100 current B61-3/4 nuclear warheads stationed at facilities in NATO members like Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and Turkey are slated to be replaced by these new bombs.
