Harbour Air Seaplanes Taking Off in Nanaimo Harbour Water Airport Seen From Protection Island, BC

Nanaimo Harbour Air Seaplanes take off's from Nanaimo Harbour Water Airport in Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island seen from Protection Island, BC.

This time my video was taken with a much nicer camera than the one I took last Thanksgiving (Canadian Thanksgiving) while visiting my girlfriend's parents.

This time the Harbour Air Dehavilland Otter Seaplane action was much better thanks to my new Sony Handycam and the fact that is was taken at the beginning of summer. Good lighting and nice weather made each float plane come alive. These planes are also known as the DHC-3 Turbine Single Otter.

While this is an RC Plane channel primarily, I like to show other types of videos that interest me as well. I hope you all enjoy this as much as my Hobbyzone Champ and Hobbyzone Super Cub videos. I can't forget John's E-Flite Carbon Cub either with its floats in the snow.

Also note that Canadians say Harbour and not Harbor.
