A Snowy Day in Lynden, WA with my Sony HDR-CX290 Handycam

This is a video I made for my friend John that is away in Colorado. He was upset that he missed the snow, so I told him I would do this for him. It was also a great opportunity to see how snow falling looked on my new Sony HDR-CX290 Handycam Camcorder. Towards the end of the video it turned into blizzard conditions, so in an effort to keep my camcorder in like new condition, I ended it there.

This footage was recorded West of Mount Baker Volcano or Mt. Baker Volcano home of the Mount Baker Resort and Mt. Baker Ski Area in Lynden, WA located Northwest Washington. Lynden is located in the Northwest tip of Washington State and is only a few miles South of the US/Canadian border.

Not everyone knows this, but the Cascade Mountain Range or Cascade Range extends up into British Columbia Canada and some of the prettiest scenery on the planet can be found there!

Hopefully you like how it turned out with this pretty inexpensive Sony Handycam. I hope to get some video with my Hobbyzone Champ recorded with it as soon as this snowy and windy weather goes away.
