Shawn's FPV Quad Flight and Crash in the Snow Using Sony HDR-CX290 Handycam Camcorder

This is a video testing out my new Sony HDR-CX290 Handycam camcorder. The video subject is my buddy's FPV Quad that shows a crash in the snow from some distance out with this Sony Handycam.

My prior quadcopter videos have been recorded using my iPhone 4S. Due to it not having a zoom and limited space without the ability to upgrade it, I decided to get this camcorder that was on sale for $199. It will come in handy for things like the Abbotsford Airshow and capturing my RC flight adventures outside since it seems like that iPhone does a little bit better indoor in lower light.

His quad copter is a home built quad that may be large enough for quadcopter fishing for smaller sun fish over lakes. I hope he makes a quadcopter FPV First Person View video of them fishing with his quad or John's DJI F450 Quad RC aircraft.

Some people also call these aircraft multi-rotor, multirotor or quadrotor helicopters. All I know is they are pretty cool and I am not good enough at flying yet to get one of these big bad boys! Especially not with FPV flying with either an FPV tricopter or FPV quadcopter.
