Blade FPV Quad Review Notes:

Pros:
- Runs on 2S or 3S lipo packs
- Comes professionally pre-tuned out of the box
- Includes spare props and prop tool
- It is easy to setup with the manual
- There are different VTX power settings
- You can program the VTX settings with your radio or by pushing the button on the quad.
- The video quality is great via my Fatsharks
- It had a price reduction recently, so the price is only slightly more than the Blade Torrent 110 FPV Quad at the time I made this video.

Cons:
- There are only three camera angle settings separated by 15 degrees with a maximum angle of 30 degrees
- The antenna pops out and moves side to side way too easy. I may be modding that with rubber tubing or hot glue.

There seemed to be just too many issues with the Blade Inductrix FPV BL, so I thought for the same price, I would give this a shot. So far it seems pretty awesome after one fun flight in strong wind!

This is how Horizon Hobby describes this Scimitar Quad"

"The next generation of high performance, brushless micro drones, the Blade® Scimitar® 110 BNF Basic brings the best features to an impressively capable micro drone, sure to turn any backyard BBQ into a party. Ready to slice and dice out of the box, the Scimitar comes built, tuned and ready on day one.

The ideal backyard racer, it boasts a carbon fiber main frame and durable pod protecting all vital electronics. A 10A 4-in-1 ESC with DShot 600 provides a smooth and predictable throttle and control response to the beefier 1106-6000Kv motors, making it more than capable of taking on the hardest of freestyle maneuvers. The F3 flight controller comes professionally tuned and Betaflight configurable with Betaflight OSD pre-programmed. A new variable power video transmitter can switch from 25-150mW modes depending on your environment, and frequency and channel can be selected directly from your Spektrum™ G2 transmitter with forward programming. The video transmitter has a stout MMCX connector and a circular polarized antenna so swapping antennas is easy and accessible. Add a battery, transmitter, and FPV goggles or monitor and you’ll be zipping around your backyard in no time."

As soon as the weather is better, I will be taking this outside along with my Blade Inductrix Switch Air and possibly my Blade Inductrix FPV Pro for some awesome blade flying fun!

If all goes well with this micro drone, I will consider getting the one of the larger Blade Scimitar Quads like the Blade Scimitar 170 FPV, Blade Scimitar 215 Pro, or the Blade Scimitar LRX to mount my GoPro Hero 7 Black on for awesome video footage and long flights!
