I add my witness to Elder Neil L. Andersen. Joseph Smith WAS and IS a prophet of God. I am honored to be named after him and encourage you to find out for yourself of this modern, American-born prophet.

God still lives and He still speaks through prophets like he always has done. See Amos 3:7 in the Old Testament (Bible).
