All New Rivian R2T/R2S - Everything We Know So Far | Startup Showcase

Here's everything we know right now about the all new upcoming models from EV startup Rivian. They will be the Rivian R2T electric midsize pickup truck and the Rivian R2S electric midsize SUV. In this video, I'll take you through the potential exterior and interior design of the R2T/R2S and then I'll go over the potential performance specs. Finally, I'll detail the pricing and release date for the models and give my opinion on whether or not the R2T and R2S will be successful.
Rivian has gotten off to a strong start for a startup, all things considered, as its debut model, the R1T was received well. Things got even better after the release of the full size SUV variant, the R1S. Now the brand is looking to expand with a smaller and cheaper platform called the R2 platform. A truck (R2T) and SUV (R2S) will be based on the platform. No official pictures have been released yet, but some artists have created renderings of what the models could look like. In terms of horsepower and range, the R2T/R2S will likely have less power than the R1, but still come standard with all-wheel drive (AWD). There will be multiple options for the battery pack and the range can be expected to be around 250-350 miles per charge. Rivian says the R2 could start around $40,000 and production will begin in 2026. Thanks for watching!
