Resurrection State of Mind

New York, New York
I was born and grew up about 20 miles west of Manhattan. Since my Dad had tickets to the New York Jets football team and I was a New York Mets fan, I ended up in New York quite a bit growing up.

Then I went to college at the State University of New York at Stony Brook which is about 60 miles east of Manhattan. It probably wasn't the case, but it seemed that everyone I knew at Stony Brook lived in either Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, or Manhattan. So I have been around many New Yorkers and the mindset of a New Yorker, I am not saying all New Yorkers, but I would say the majority I have met is a little different.

Me being from New Jersey was almost like I was from another continent instead of the state right next door. For so many New Yorkers, New York is the universe and they are doing you a favor if they acknowledge where you live exists. They love New York and they love letting everyone else know that New York is the best.

This mindset we are going to explore a little bit today along with the mindset that the follower of Christ shows to the world. Because do Christians show the world a "Resurrection State of Mind?"
