What is meant by the term "Good News"?

This question is crucial and needs to be addressed by both ourselves and others.

The definition of this term varies between scholars and laypeople, but in this case, the scholars' perspective is correct.

The Good News refers to the Kingdom of God, where Jesus reigns as Lord.
In the first century, this proclamation had real-world implications as it meant that the kingdom of God, under Jesus' lordship, would clash with the kingdom of man, under Caesar's lordship.

This question remains relevant today: Who do we consider our Lord?
