This is the eighteenth, and final game of the fourth 1834 unofficial world chess championship match between Louis-Charles Mahé de La Bourdonnais and Alexander McDonnell.

La Bourdonnais has already been crowned champion of the fourth match, but they will play out the remaining game regardless - that is how they rolled in 1834.

So, McDonnell has absolutely nothing left to lose.
This one is a fast Sicilian - will McDonnell win a consolation point, or will he get completely crucified? Find out in this final game of match four.
