When I came across the Formosa Covers 9ft Umbrella Replacement Canopy with 6 Ribs in Royal Blue or Light Blue, I was cautiously optimistic. I appreciate that the canopy is made from 300 denier polyester fabric with UV treatment and water repellent properties.
This means that the canopy is durable and will not fade easily in harsh sunlight. As per the product description, it is important to make sure your umbrella frame has 6 ribs and that each rib measures between 52” and 54”.
Fortunately for me, my umbrella was a perfect fit. One of the things I appreciate about this canopy is the air vent design. It allows air to flow through and prevent the umbrella from flopping around in the wind.
Additionally, the tie rope allows for secure attachment to the umbrella frame. I was a little concerned about how easy it would be to replace the old canopy with the new one, but it wasnt an issue at all.
