Dragoon Spring and Mountain Hike.

Dragoon Spring is about a mile down a dirt road from the burial site of the Confederate soldiers and the Butterfield Overland Stage Stop.

There are some ruins and artifacts there. It looks like the remains of an old dam.

This is a very beautiful location and is a really nice place to hike. We decided to explore the spring and tackle a pretty rigorous climb. The Mrs. picked the route and it was very intense. I was so intense, that a couple of hunters, that happened to be in the area, watched our journey up and down and when we were done for the day, they stopped and gave up props for being able to do it. They were specifically impressed with the Mrs. and her goat like hiking skills.
