Life on the streets as a child runaway wasn't always easy. Despite the amazing generosity that I received from some people, there were of course plenty of hard times.

I learned from an early age as a child runaway living on the streets the huge levels of sadism and general abuse shown towards young people in society.

If it wasn't for the amazing and wonderful people that saw life through a completely different lens then life would have been nothing but a constant living hell. Without the compassion, love and authentic connectivity shown to me by those people inspiring me moving forward in life, I really wouldn't know who I'd be today.

It just goes to show, just treating somebody how you'd like to be treated yourself no matter what position they are in life can make a real difference in the world, whether those people are homeless on the ground or living it up somewhat more privileged.

It was those people that taught me that sometimes people have something worth more than gold, and that is the ability to rid the mind of any needless ego and break through the mental barriers that prevent people connecting with those that they might falsely presume they won't understand.

Life's a mad thing ay.
