This week the IMF announced they have been working on a Global CBDC Platform to facilitate the international exchange of Central Bank Digital Currencies.

The Monetary Authority Of Singapore (MAS) also published a whitepaper this week titled "Purpose Bound Money", which illustrates what these CBDCs may look like when implemented, and the implications are frightening.
