Imran Khan is a prominent figure in Pakistani politics and the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan. Before entering politics, Imran Khan had a successful career in cricket and is considered one of the greatest cricketers in the history of the sport.

Imran Khan played international cricket for Pakistan from 1971 to 1992. He captained the national cricket team to its first-ever World Cup victory in 1992. Following his retirement from cricket, Imran Khan transitioned into politics and founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party in 1996.

Throughout his political career, Imran Khan has advocated for social justice, anti-corruption measures, and economic reforms. His party, PTI, gained popularity over the years, and in the general elections held in July 2018, PTI emerged as the single largest party in the National Assembly of Pakistan. Imran Khan was subsequently elected as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan on August 18, 2018.
