On June 23, 2023, the DeSantis for President Campaign held a fundraiser in DC. We caught up with Marc Lampkin, the co-host of the fundraiser. Lampkin has been registered as a lobbyist for COVID 19 vaccine manufacturer Moderna since February 2021. In addition to his work with Moderna, Lampkin has also been registered as a lobbyist for Pharmaceutical manufacturer AbbVie, (https://www.abbvie.com/patients/patient-support/patient-assistance/eligibility-criteria.html) the maker of the youth gender transitioning drug Lupron (http://www.bcchildrens.ca/endocrinology-diabetes-site/documents/bcchluprongd.pdf) since 2014.

We asked Lampkin what he thought about DeSantis’s hypocrisy in taking campaign money from Big Pharma lobbyists while he tells voters that he is anti-vax and anti child castration.

Apparently DeSantis will say anything for a campaign donation.
