The Shimano 105 Rear Derailleur Shadow RD-R7000 11-Speed Version Medium works like a charm, exactly as expected. Its an excellent product for 11 gears, and it works seamlessly with the Shimano mtb 11-40 cassette.
The b-screw isnt even all the way in, which means no WolfTooth link is needed, making installation a breeze.
Having combined it with a 50/34 crankset, I love that the lowest gear now allows for a higher cadence when climbing, which is beneficial for both power output and fatigue.
With this derailleur, its far easier to put out 200+ watts on a long climb at a cadence of 80 rather than 64.
Upgrading from the short cage 5800 model was a necessity for me to fit a 32T cassette, but it didnt require any special tools and went on without a hitch.
For the price, this is an outstanding bargain. I appreciate the good quality and originality of this Shimano product, which has worked perfectly for me so far.
