Jesus the One Worthy of Obedience
Then a cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud there came a voice, “This is my Son, the Beloved; listen to him!” Mark 9:7
Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a high mountain to pray. His appearance is transformed and his clothes become dazzling white.
Moses and Elijah appear and begin talking with Jesus. Then they hear a voice from the cloud say, “This is my beloved son. Listen to him!”
Today, think about Jesus’ teachings and pray for understanding and guidance on how to live out those teachings in your own life.
Let us be inspired by Jesus, the One worthy of our obedience and trust.
O God of Grace, help us to hear and obey Your Son, Jesus. Guide us to live out His teachings in our daily lives. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
