I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the OZARK TRAIL River Tube. The size of the tube was exactly as expected and fit me comfortably. I used it all summer and it is still in great condition.
One of the things I liked about this tube was that it held up well during my river float trip. Even when it scraped against small river rocks, it did not pop or tear.
The attached rope made it easy for me to hold onto, even when the water got rough. I also used this tube during a 10+ mile river trip, both standalone and connected to kayaks, and I did not encounter any issues.
The only drawbacks I found were that it took a decent amount of time to deflate and the connectors for cords were flimsy. However, given the price, I did not expect more and would definitely buy this tube again.
I was initially concerned about the size and quality of these tubes. But, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the slightly smaller size worked well in rocky areas.
It was also easier to pull out backside up out of the water compared to other tubes with slightly larger dimensions. I found the tubes to be very durable and they held up well against rock scrapes.
The absence of a pillow did not bother me, and I did not notice any significant difference in the size of the tubes with a pillow. Overall, I would highly recommend the OZARK TRAIL River Tube for those who want a durable and comfortable tube for river trips.
