The Southern Front: How Ukraine Saved Its Coastline

On February 24, 2022, Russia began its invasion of Ukraine. One of the main lines of attack came from the south, as Russia attempted to secure the coastline around the Black Sea and make Ukraine a land-locked country. Moscow almost realized that goal. However, Ukraine adjusted and successfully fought back as the Russian military shifted westward. This is the story of the Battle for the Black Sea.
