Sotheby's is presenting Harry Potter enthusiasts with a unique opportunity to possess what could be the most coveted book from the series: an illustrated and handwritten version of The Tales of Beedle the Bard gifted by the author J.K. Rowling. Rowling to one of her earliest supporters.

After the widely successful release of the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter fantasy series, titled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in 2007, Rowling left the world wanting more by releasing only seven copies of The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Fans were left suffering from severe Harry Potter withdrawal symptoms, as the completion of the series was accompanied by the release of an irresistible new volume.
