When "Roe v. Wade" crumbled to the ground on June 24, 2022, it was the beginning of the end of a decades long battle. While the reversal of this wicked law was ruled through the Supreme Court, it was also thanks to the pro-life pioneers, past and present, some who are even deceased, who took a stand for the sanctity of human life. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. Tim Clinton interviews John Stemberger about his book, "Legacy of Life: Honoring Fifty of the Greatest Pro-Life Leaders of the Last Fifty Years," an ode to those who helped make a post-Roe America possible, including our own Dr. James Dobson. About Today's Guest: John Stemberger
John Stemberger is the president of the Florida Family Policy Council, a non-profit organization with a mission to protect and defend life, marriage, family and liberty through education, advocacy and empowerment. He is also a civil trial lawyer with his own private practice. John earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from Florida State University, and his juris doctor from Samford University. In 1987, he founded the Institute for Conservative Studies (ICS), as a permanent student-led think-tank at Florida State University. In 1992, John was appointed as the political director of the Republican Party of Florida during the final campaign of former President George H. W. Bush. John has been quoted in news and media sources as an expert on law, policy, culture and politics in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and NPR. John and his wife, Olivia, have four children, and make their home in Florida.
