Do you know who you serve through your crochet business? Read the description #shorts #smallbusiness

You might say, Ashley, I’m not a service provider, I’m a product seller. I don’t serve anyone.

I’d like to encourage a mindset shift.

Yes, you sell products, but why should people buy your products? How are your products raising someones quality of life?

When I first started my crochet business back in 2012 my “ideal customer” was humans with money. Let’s just say it was very difficult to build a sustainable brand around that ideal customer.

Now, I can sell the same crochet product to 10 different people and solve 10 different unique problems for each of them.

The EASIEST person for you to serve is someone who is now in a current season of life you used to be in.

Do you sell baby bibs, maybe you have a 5 year old but your ideal customer is a new mom.

Do you sell nesting baskets? Maybe your ideal customer is struggling to organzine their home in a way thats both practical but also pretty.

Finding your ideal customer will make running your business 1000X easier, I promise. The easier it is for you to create the business of your dreams the more likely you will be to stick with it! I want to see you succeed friend!

I heard this quote today while listing to a @jasminestar podcast episode with @roryvaden and I thought it was too good not to share!
