Oil in my Lamp by The Byrds ~ Raising the Chrism Oil Within Us...

Roger McGuinn and The Byrds gave a Great rendition of the Ancient Christian Hymn, Give Me Oil in My Lamp, from their 1969 Album, The Ballad of Easy Rider...and the Byrds turned this Hymn into a Classic Rock song, that many bands would come to cover over time, especially LIVE...

The Hymn focuses upon our Need to repent from Sinning, and Live, instead, a Pure Life of Virtue, in Honor of the Teachings and Life of Jesus Christ...and that it is through this rejection of Sin, and our commitment to Live Virtuous Lives that actually does Create Copious amounts of the OIL in our own Lamps, which are our Heads...

The Oil that both the Christian Hymn and this song are singing to, is our Chrism Oil, the Christed Oil that RISES within us, when we Live Pure, Virtuous Lives, so that the Sacred Feminine Energy Within us feels Safe and Free to Rise as the Kundalini Rising...and this is how we Create Christ Consciousness within our Heads, resulting in Heaven Upon Earth...Raising Jesus Christ Within us, to Activate the Pineal Gland, resulting in the Illumination of the Optic Thalamus, so that we may become the Light of the World, and the 13th Cranial Nerve...

So Sing and Chant to this Classic, and allow that Christic Fire within you to RISE to God, creating our own True Heaven, and Peace on Earth with Goodwill to all Mankind...
