In a backyard retreat, filled with delight,
An adult and its baby, a heartwarming sight.
They chattered and talked, nose to nose they met,
The parent groundhog wagged its tail, with excitement, no fret!

Then, side by side, they shared snacks with pleasure,
Munching and nibbling, a memory to treasure.
With joyful exchanges and treats they savored,
Parent and baby groundhog, a bond forever favored.
