Multiple tornadoes in north Texas kill four, injure 9

Following a devastating tornado that struck the town of Matador in north Texas during a scorching heat wave, authorities are currently evaluating the extent of the damage and working towards recovery efforts. Tragically, at least four individuals lost their lives in the calamity.

The town experienced an extraordinary tornado as a result of a line of severe storms. The local fire department described it as an “unprecedented tornado” that tore through the area.

Meteorologists noted that this storm system brought about a rare combination of tornadoes, hurricane-force winds exceeding 100 mph, and large hail, USA Today has reported.
