Located in Luoyang City, Henan Province, the White Horse Temple was built in the eleventh year of Yongping in the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 68). It was the first government-run temple built after Buddhism was introduced to China. It has the "ancestral court" and "Shiyuan" of Chinese Buddhism. known as. Baima Temple is located 21 kilometers east of the old city of Luoyang, Henan Province, with Mang Mountain in the north and Luohe River in the south.

Baima Temple preserves a large number of dry lacquer statues of the Yuan Dynasty, such as the third Buddha, the second heavenly general, and the eighteen arhats, which are very precious. In 1961, Baima Temple was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
