During a joint news conference with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the White House Thursday, President Joe Biden said he doesn’t think calling Chinese President Xi Jinping a “dictator” left any impression on their diplomatic relations. Biden added that he plans to meet with President Xi in the near future. At a fundraising event in California on June 20, Biden called President Xi a dictator while addressing February’s Chinese spy balloon incident.
