Should Christians Seek the Baptism of Fire?

Many terms exist in the Bible that people have incorrectly interpreted to support false ideas. One such term is the Baptism of fire described by John the Baptist. Is this baptism a good thing? Should a Christian seek "Baptism of fire?"
