There is three heats required for 1084 Steel. This process of heat cycling is as follows:
1. Heat to 1800 degrees
2. Heat to 1600 degrees
3. Heat to 1500 Degrees - Then quench in 120 Degrees Parks 50 Oil
- You can heat a piece of rebar or loose steel and put it in the oil in advance to bring the oil to temperature.
