While I don't have children myself I've dated people that have had attempted kidnapping of them when they were a child. I've also dated people that were raped at the age of four. I have grown male friends that still bedwet due to being raped as children (one recently suicided). Most friends I talk to open up to me about their abuse experiences as I have lived in those shoes as well.

Some friends bury their heads in the sand and proceed to tell me 'the world is beige' and they have children themselves.

While I don't have children myself I will always fight and standup for those whose parents choose daily to bury their heads in the sand.
