Justice Alito BUSTED Taking Luxury Fishing Trip With GOP Mega-Donor

ProPublica reported last night that US Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito took a luxury fishing vacation in Alaska with Paul Singer, a hedge fund billionaire whose company apparently had 10 cases before SCOTUS after the trip. This trip was previously undisclosed and Alito never recused himself from any cases involving singer's company.

Meanwhile, Justice Alito wrote an Op-Ed piece for the Wall Street Journal ahead of ProPublica's reporting refuting their reporting and claiming he did not do anything unethical by going on the trip to Alaska with Paul Singer, not reporting the trip, or recusing himself from cases involving singer's fund.

The article's headline and sub-headline read: "propublica Misleads Its Readers: The publication levels false charges about Supreme Court recusal, financial disclosures, and a 2008 fishing trip."
