Sub tourist's friend cancelled trip on safety fears

A friend of a passenger on board the missing tourist submersible which was diving to the wreck of the Titanic says he cancelled his own trip due to concerns over the vessel's safety and design. Chris Brown, a friend of billionaire Hamish Harding, says he saw "shoddy" parts when it underwent tests several years ago, including the use of a video game controller and lack of redundant systems.
