Saturday-Night Theatre: The Yang Chi Jade
Sat 1st Dec 1984, 20:30 on BBC Radio 4 FM
Based on a short story by Freeman Wills Croft, adapted by Michael Campbell

Confucius said:
'The wise man does not hide his true nature; it is only the impure who try to conceal what they really are.'

This is true, too, of the Yang Chi Jade, in which the beauty consists of the flaws that are visible in the transparent stone -and perhaps it is also true of the mysterious French girl who plants the priceless jewel on Charles Pemberton.
