Upon being drawn into the distortion world by Giratina, the players are confronted with an unforgiving and unsettling environment. They navigate weightless islands that sway in low gravity to reunite with each other and extract information from the "brilliant" head researcher of Penumbra, Gideon, who hasn't been seen since the wreckage of the S.S DIligence blipped out of existence many sessions ago!
