2023 OF this Year of Gaming has really been on a Role this year with all these Enchanced Remakes of this Old School Classic Gems.lol.

ANyways,Another Winner which also showed up in today's "Nintendo Direct" Press Conference Preview Show is another New Remake of a well Known Playstation 1 Title!

I think I actually recall playing the original PS1 version of Star Ocean 2 Back in the day,I don't remeember this one much,but all I remember wa Rena being the best cutest thing in this game:P and I've also Watched the "Star Ocean EX" ANime a few years back,which was based on this game (but sadly,the Anime doesn't follow 100% Faithful to the Source Material)

BUt yep,it seems like this gem will be getting another Remake,and this isn't the first time this happaned either,which this game previously got a PSP Remake back in 2009 called Star Ocean Second Evolution:

and it seems that this upcoming Star Ocean 2 Second Story R Remake will use a completely new Graphics Engine and Battle system compared to the previous Remake. infact the New Graphics engine and Battle system style is very similar to octopath traveler,another series that Square Enix worked on,which they'll also reuse a similar new battle system like this for the upcoming "Dragon Quest 3" Remake,whenever they get around to finishing that,or if it'll ever be released.
