Speaker McCarthy says Biden impeachment resolution undercuts Committee investigations

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told reporters in Washington Wednesday that he opposes Representative Lauren Boebert’s (R-CO) resolution to impeach President Joe Biden. Rep. McCarthy said the privileged resolution was “prematurely” brought forward amid House Committee investigations into the president.
