Working ranch cowboys are always on the lookout for cattle in the pasture showing any signs of injury or health problems. This timed event simulates the method and skills needed to attend to problems quickly as needed. #WRCA #RanchRodeo #cowmilking #Rodeo

Ten teams representing working ranches in the Roaring Springs region compete against one another in order to qualify for entry in the WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo in Amarillo. The Old Settlers Reunion & Rodeo is always a great excuse to return to a small and beautiful town I have known since my childhood days.

The Motley Dickens Old Settlers Reunion and Rodeo is an annual celebration for the two sparsely populated counties with a long heritage of farming and ranching history.
