At least 46 women burned, shot, hacked to death after Honduras prison riot

Yesterday, a violent clash between rival gangs at a prison in Honduras resulted in a tragic incident where at least 41 women were brutally killed through burning, shooting, or stabbing.

In the aftermath of the clash, authorities discovered 26 charred bodies among the total death toll of 41. The violent confrontation escalated when the warring gangs initiated a fire in the bathroom, which rapidly spread throughout the facility.

This harrowing massacre has left the nation in a state of shock. Prior to the incident, inmates had been expressing concerns for weeks about threats they were receiving from gang members within the women’s prison.

On Tuesday, those alleged threats became a horrifying reality as the gangs executed their sinister intentions, claiming the lives of at least 41 women, the U.S. Sun reported.
