HITCHHIKING in INDIA? Is it possible? Will people pick you up? Do they understand what you're doing?

Over the past couple of days, I have been relying on the kindness of strangers to get me from Point A to Point B. Today I hitched a ride with a fellow truck driver who was heading to Kaza. Although the 2 men knew very little English I felt good energy between us, and we had a very enjoyable time. If you are hitch-hiking in India or anywhere for that matter make sure you remain safe and stay diligent at all times!
