In East Boston Municipal Court on Tuesday, Jack Jones, a cornerback for the New England Patriots, faced arraignment on charges related to weapons. Despite the accusations, he pleaded not guilty and was able to secure his release by posting a cash bail of $30,000. The next court appearance for Jones is scheduled for August 18, where a probable cause hearing will take place.

According to prosecutors, authorities at Boston's Logan Airport discovered a bag with Jack Jones' name on it, containing a Glock box housing two firearms and ammunition.

At the age of 25, Jones has been charged with multiple offenses, including possession of a concealed weapon in a secure area of the airport, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, unlawful possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, and possession of a large capacity feeding device.

It's worth noting that two of the charges against Jones carry mandatory minimum prison sentences of 2½ years if he is indicted and subsequently convicted. Additionally, two other counts entail mandatory minimum sentences of 18 months in prison if he is indicted and later convicted.
