Is The Military Still Worth Serving In? An Air Force Veteran's Opinion

The military that exists now is not the military of your father's or grandfather's generation. The red-blooded patriotic American boys aren't joining anymore because they get filtered out as I did, and the indoctrination is worse than it is in schools..which begs the question, is joining the military still a worthy idea?
