I absolutely love the Primos Trophy Grunter Call for deer hunting. It is light and easy to use, making it perfect for carrying around on hunts. The design allows for it to be wrapped around my neck and stored in my front pocket when not in use.
While testing it out, I had no initial luck, but once I found a good location, I was able to call in over 7 deer in just an hour. The calls from the product brought all the deer into my zone from at least 200 yards away.
The plastic tube can be a bit noisy if it bangs against something, but it still has great sound options. I was able to call in a nice buck with it on one of my hunts.
While thickness is a good rating feature, I dont understand why warmth is included in the rating criteria. The call is made of plastic and isnt meant to be warm.
I would recommend watching some buck grunting videos to mimic the sound needed for the call. It is important not to blow too hard, as it can sound like a confused elk, rather than a slow low deer buck grunt.
Overall, the Primos Trophy Grunter Call is a great product for deer hunting, highly recommended for every hunter.
