Sen. Warren: DOJ acted independently in Hunter Biden investigation

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) told reporters outside the Capitol Tuesday that the Justice Department “did exactly what it’s supposed to do” in regard to the Hunter Biden plea deal. “[Hunter Biden] negotiated a deal which is what any criminal defendant can do. Again, this is the Justice Department acting independently of the politicians. That’s the kind of justice department we want,” said Sen. Warren.
