Moscow claims America plans to drop mosquitos with malaria onto troops

In a peculiar statement, Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, the head of Vladimir Putin’s Russian Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops, claimed that the United States intends to employ drones to release mosquitoes infected with malaria onto Russian soldiers.

His assertion suggests that the aim behind this alleged plan is to intentionally make the soldiers ill or potentially cause fatalities.

It is worth noting that in the past, when Russia has made extravagant claims about the West or Ukraine, it often indicates their own intentions or actions, Metro reported.
