Zechariah 7:9-10 New King James Version
9 “Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Execute true justice,
Show [a]mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother.
10 Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, The alien or the poor.
Let none of you plan evil in his heart Against his brother.’

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!! Due to us both being in a whole lot of pain (nerve) today, Ricky and I didn't go anywhere today. Was able to get a couple things accomplished online, and I'm in the midst of the next chapter of the Proverbs 31 study that Darlene is doing for the time warp wife, and I really recommend it guys. Right now, I'm looking this over, while planning to order some dinner from a local pizza joint, very much grateful for how well this day went. 😊

Allow me to ask these questions from this morning's devotional, my friends, and I pray that you will allow God to speak to you through them and challenge you as well.

How have you seen true religion played out?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share with you some things that God showed me from this morning's passage of scripture, as well as other passages of His Word, just what true religion is, in particular the true religion that God accepts, and how we as followers of Jesus can truly live out the faith that we say we have. I invite you all tonight, my friends, to join me in this vlog, and learn for yourselves the true religion that God accepts, and how to live that out every day! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning’s devotional, and I pray that god will use this question to challenge, convict, and motivate your heart to show genuine, sincere faith to all those around you.

How can you display genuine faith to others?

I pray tonight my friends, that you ask God to open your eyes to see the genuinely, sincerely, and legitimately needy, and most vulnerable that are around you, and boldly and lovingly reach out and help them. When you do this, do it to genuinely help them, and not draw any attention and/or fanfare for yourself. Most of all, don't ignore those who are genuinely in need, because you're either too scared, apathetic, or lazy to help. Choose to reach out and encourage that lonely older person, that struggling single parent, with children who may not know who their mom/dad is, choose to share your time and energy with that fatherless person, by being a godly influence on them, so that they will come to know Christ and follow Him too. Most of all, DON’T IGNORE THEM!!!

This is my prayer for myself, and I pray that it is yours too.

UNTIL WEDNESDAY:

HAVE A SWEET, BLESSED, AND TRANQUIL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
