KJV 2 Thessalonians 2:2 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
NIV 2 Thessalonians 2:2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.
ESV 2 Thessalonians 2:2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
Bible prophesy is for all Christians and not just Israel. After Christ’s death on the cross all prophesy is for all. Anybody who uses the phrase “replacement theology” doesn’t understand the meaning of Peter’s vision.

Nothing is being replaced or dislodged it is being included as the graphed seed. Using the word “church” to replace the general term of Christian is also misleading. Nobody who understands the concept of the graphed seed is replacing Israel with the Church or Christian believers we are all one in the same in the eyes of God.

Israelite –Gentile

Promised seed and Grafted seed
The Vision of Peter

Before the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Israelite children were commanded by YHVH not to mingle or mix with the gentiles. But the vision that Peter had was the beginning of the end of that command because of what Christ had accomplished on the Cross. Now the gentiles could be grafted in and adopted into the family of God through Jesus Christ.
In this vision God commanded that Peter call no man “common” or “unclean” if they accepted the plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. By comparing the Gentiles to the unclean animals of Leviticus 11:4, God explains to Peter that the gentiles have been washed clean by the Blood of Jesus Christ and they are no longer “unclean” or “common”.
These scriptures have nothing to do with the food laws as God was only using these unclean animals as a metaphor. God did not wash pigs, catfish and vultures but He washed mankind with the Blood of Jesus. PETERS VISION was the beginning of the door being opened for the salvation of all of mankind; Israelite and Gentile through the Blood of Jesus Christ.

If you read the following verses in context you will have to come to the conclusion that the vision of Peter was not about eating a BigMac but it was about the beginning of something much bigger….THE SALVATION OF ALL OF MANKIND. The beginning of the adoption process of the gentiles.
Paul was sent forth to minister to the Gentiles. Peter was the rock that the Church was built upon.
Acts 10:10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. (A representation of the gentiles in their current state)
13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean. (Peter did not understand)
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. (Cleansed by the blood of Jesus)
16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
---Three times? I like the number 3
17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate, (Proof that God can read your mind as God answers Peters question)
18 And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.
19 While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
20 Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.

---Here is the jest of the entire vision below---
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another NATION; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. (Here is the where the word “nation” is found)
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: (God looks at all of us the same; Israelite and Gentile)
35 But in every NATION he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. (Again the word nation. But not the same Greek word) (see below)
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. (The same tongues of fire in Acts 2 and understood by every language)
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Did you read that? Amazing)
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Acts 11:8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.
9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. (Cleansed through the Blood of Jesus)
10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.
17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

---And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Unclean animals-Gentiles…Clean animals- Israelites…Now All have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus.

The food laws have not been changed. Pigs are still pigs and vultures are still vultures. Catfish are still bottom feeders. They eat poop-you eat poop when you eat them. Oysters are still filters of the sea. On and on… you eat what they eat…

The concepts taught in the vision of Peter are universally misunderstood in Christianity and even Peter didn’t understand it in the beginning. But God confirmed the vision with other men that spoke to Peter as revealed in these latter verses. The subject and object being discussed here is the salvation of the gentiles and not whether or not you should eat a pig sandwich.
Nation G #246 in Acts 10:28 allophulos: of another race Original Word: ἀλλόφυλος, ον Part of Speech: Adjective Transliteration: allophulos Phonetic Spelling: (al-lof'-oo-los) Short Definition: foreign Definition: foreign, of another tribe or race.
alien, foreign From allos and phule; foreign, i.e. (specially) Gentile -- one of another nation. see GREEK allos see GREEK phule

G # 1484 Acts 10:36 ethnos: a race, a nation, pl. the nations (as distinct from Isr.) Original Word: ἔθνος, ους, τό Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter Transliteration: ethnos Phonetic Spelling: (eth'-nos) Short Definition: a race, people, the Gentiles Definition: a race, people, nation; the nations, heathen world, Gentiles. Gentile, heathen Probably from etho; a race (as of the same habit), i.e. A tribe; specially, a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually, by implication, pagan) -- Gentile, heathen, nation, people. see GREEK etho
The way in which the word “nation” is used here is further proof of the subject and object being discussed here in Acts 10 and 11. Most of time the word nation is translated from the Greek word “Ethnos” but here in Acts 10:28 it is translated “allophulos” meaning; specifically a gentile.
