India puts trust in Russia as oil trade numbers rise

A major Indian oil company has increased imports from Russia by about 900% year-on-year. The company's executive director hailed the rise in bilateral trade between the countries. Russia is India's fifth largest trade partner, up from number 25 just a year ago.

We spoke to a New Delhi-based economist, who believes if Russia offers cheap oil, there's no reason not to buy it.
