South Korean man attempts to open plane door mid-flight

A nineteen-year-old Korean man attempted to open a plane door mid air on a flight from Cebu in Philippines to Incheon airport in South Korea, according to officials from Jeju Airlines and Incheon airport police. Officials from Jeju Air say the nineteen-year-old began to act strangely an hour into the flight. Flight attendants moved him to the front row of the plane close to the exit door so they could monitor him, which is when the man ran towards the door and attempted to open it. Fortunately, the door stayed closed, and no one was hurt or injured. The man was handed over to police when the flight landed.
